It is shifted to June from October Enoshima Olympic Week is starting tomorrow with 470s, and Saturday with Laser, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7 and 49er/FX. Two entries from KOR young sailors from ChunghamSailing Club, KOR arrived today and they were keen to get on the water for training already. They enjoyed the 10 kt south-west breeze with medium size sea, and good surf. All the youth sailors are looking forward to sailing against Manami Doi who finished 3 rdat the Delta Lloyd Regatta in NED last month. First time, 49er FX joins the EOW with 3 entries. They are going to sail on the same area with 470s, but using inner loop while 470s are going outer loop. Biggest fleet is the 470s with 40+ entries.Top 470 teams including Ai Kondo Yoshida, the National Champion, are now back in Japan after the coach’s regatta training in Santander. Many top University sailors are going to challenge Mrs. Yoshida and her crew Miho Yoshioka.The new club house (opened on June 1) welcomes the sailors. Enoshima Yacht Harbour is built for the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Game, and now the old club house is going to be knock down soon as the new one already in action.
